Mission
The Center for Parent Information and Resources (CPIR) serves as a central resource of information and products to the community of Parent Training Information (PTI) Centers and the Community Parent Resource Centers (CPRCs), so that they can focus their efforts on serving families of children with disabilities.
Program Description
Visit the CPIR's Repository of Resources and access a treasure trove of information and products related to children with disabilities.

Best Practices in Self-Advocacy Skill Building
The website has a Hub page that focuses on the priority topic of “best practices in self-advocacy skills building.”  Here, you’ll find quick connections to materials and resources you can use with youth with disabilities and their families to build their abilities to advocate for themselves. Items marked with ** are designed to be parent-friendly.

Financial
The Center for Parent Information and Resources is made possible through funding from the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) at the U.S. Department of Education. We’re funded as part of OSEP’s support of the Parent Center network and the role that Parent Centers play in educating parents and improving outcomes for children with disabilities.
