Mission
The Village of Merici provides residential opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities that promote a strong sense of community. The desire to have individuals and families come together as a community to support one another in leading a purpose-filled life is our focus.
Program Description

Community Integration provides opportunities outside of the home or residence to individuals to help promote their personal, social and vocational competency to live successfully in the community. The individual is an active partner in in determining the activities they desire to participate in and the skills they wish to develop. The Village of Merici staff will work together with the individual and their family to identify community life experiences and interactions and develop a plan and goals for increased independence and greater quality of life.

Support Living Services provides opportunities to individuals to help promote their personal, social and vocational competency to live successfully in their own home, apartment, townhouse or other residential setting. The individual is an active partner in in determining the activities they desire to participate in and the skills they wish to develop. The Village of Merici staff will work together with the individual and their family to identify community life experiences and interactions and develop a plan and goals for increased independence and greater quality of life.

The Village of Merici is a 501(c)3 organization. The Village of Merici is an approved provider of Medicaid Waiver Services under the Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver (CIH) through the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) division of the Indiana Family Social Services Administration (FSSA) and is accredited by CARF.
