Mission
Promoting independent living for people of all ages.
Program Description
We are the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) for our area.

LifeSpan Resources, Inc. is the designated Area Agency On Aging for Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Scott Counties. Established in 1973, it is one of 16 regional agencies serving the State. Responsibilities include the development and coordination of programs and services which enable older adults, and persons with disabilities of any age, to remain independent, in their own homes.

As an umbrella organization, we provide some services directly and others are contracted with vendors i.e. home health care agencies, private sector businesses and non-profit entities. Supportive services may include:
  • home-delivered meals;
  • home health aides;
  • homemaker services;
  • adult day care;
  • transportation;
  • respite care;
  • attendant care;
  • home modifications;
  • adaptive aids and devices.
Case managers also perform financial assessments to make sure that individuals have access to any subsidized service or benefit for which they might qualify. Information gathered during a financial and/or needs assessment is confidential. For more information regarding the services available, please visit the website.
