Program Description
The speech-language clinic provides in-depth assessment of speech, language and cognitive-communication abilities for all ages. In addition to traditional assessments, the clinic also offers specialized voice assessment, augmentative/alternative (AAC) assessment and neurogenic communication assessment clinics. The clinic also provides assessment and treatment in Spanish for children experiencing communication difficulty.

Therapy Services
Individual or group therapy is designed to meet individual needs and facilitate improved communication skills. Many conditions are associated with communication disorders including;

Language-Based Preschool The Indiana University Speech-Language Clinic offers a preschool program for children ranging in age from 3 to 5 years old. The program focuses on the development of language skills as a key to learning and social/emotional competence.
Services are provided to the general public at competitive rates. A sliding fee scale is available for those that meet financial eligibility requirements. Approved third party payers include First Steps, Vocational Rehabilitation Services, and Medicaid and private insurance.
