Mission
The YES Home is committed to providing intentional services that instill hope and empowerment in a safe environment, offering choice and respecting life experience. The YES Home provides a safe structured environment for children that need to be out of their home.
Program Description
The YES Home is a residential group home licensed as emergency shelter for youths ages 6 thru 21, providing a structured, nurturing environment for abused, neglected and abandoned children. Yes is also a long term residential facility and serves the population of age 15 to 20 with a focus on independent living and positive choices.
  • Residents participate in learning daily living skills, goal setting, conflict resolution, daily chores and community service projects.
  • The YES Home prides itself in keeping our clients in their home schools for youth who live within a 30 mile radius; a daily study hour with a local teacher provides residents with an opportunity to improve study skills and improve academic achievement.
  • Residents are encouraged to become active in school and community activities.
  • Resident Technicians provide a positive role model, consistent with reinforcement of natural and logical consequences that are that result of personal choices.
