The Wilson Disease Association is dedicated to providing the leadership and resources that will result in increased research, improved health, worldwide detection, and a cure for Wilson disease.
Program Description
Wilson disease is a rare genetic disorder characterized by excess copper stored in various body tissues, particularly the liver, brain and corneas. Eventual developments include hepatic disease and central nervous system dysfunction. Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent serious long term disability.

The website is designed to give patients, family members, and healthcare professionals the most up-to-date information on treatment, legislation, support groups, research, fundraising, and patient stories.
