Mission

"Super Sibs", is a mentorship program.  Students at Notre Dame and St. Mary's College who have a sibling with special needs are paired up with a 6-11 year old who also has a sibliing with a disability.

Program Description

SuperSibs was founded to provide friendship and support to children in the area who have siblings with developmental or physical disabilities. What better way to do so than by forming relationships with college students who also have a sibling with a disability?

The club meets twice a month for a fun event — we go to sports events, have holiday parties, go bowling, have picnics, etc. Three times a semester the club gets together for a “Sib Chat,” a chance for the Little Sibs to express their emotions and connect with the group about issues involving their siblings and families.

Financial

Parents are asked to give $2 or $3 to some events, but many events are free.
