Mission

For more than 20 years, our mission and our passion has been to help children and teens with Type 1 diabetes prepare for lifelong success in living with their disease. We do this through an affordable, fun, safe and educational, camping experience where we instruct, challenge, encourage and support children and teens both in the management of their disease and in their personal growth and development.

In addition to the resident camping experience, we extend our reach through family camp weekends, teen adventure trips and weekends and day-camps for 5-8 year-olds.

Program Description

The Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana is a local, not-for-profit. We are in Indiana helping Indiana youth. We own and operate our own camp in Noblesville, Indiana. This allows us to customize all our programming and schedules to meet the needs of children and teens with diabetes.

Our camp is ACA accredited and are also a member of DECA (Diabetes Education Camping Association).
