TransCen, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving educational and employment outcomes for people with disabilities.

Our work is driven by the belief that there is a job for everyone who wants one, regardless of the nature of their disability, or other barriers to employment, their need for workplace support and accommodation, or economic circumstance.

Our associates develop, implement, and research innovative practices regarding school-to-adult life transition, career and workforce development, and inclusive community participation.

Program Description

Since 1986 we have been on the forefront of systems change and capacity-building efforts – working with school districts, human service agencies, parents, students, government agencies, advocacy groups, and businesses.

Our customized staff development and technical assistance services are exciting, out-of-the-ordinary, affordable, and designed to GET RESULTS!

Our content expertise covers the spectrum of Transition from school to employment and Adult Life. We are also known for our training and technical assistance in the areas of career and workforce development, customized employment, job development/placement, workplace accommodations, benefits counseling, ADA compliance, inclusive education, and post-secondary education/training.

Our professional development services are tailored to meet our customers’ specifications. We can deliver these services on site, on line, via email, or telephone. If you wish to enhance your own professional development programs, we can assist you in developing train the trainer materials. TransCen associates have backgrounds in education (teaching and administration k12); business and industry; social work and human services; vocational rehabilitation; and government (legislative and policy levels).
