Mission
CHASA is first international non-profit organization to offer information and support to families of infants, children, and young adults who have hemiplegia or hemiplegic cerebral palsy, often due to perinatal stroke, childhood stroke, or other rare causes.
Program Description

HemiKids is an online discussion group where you can meet other parents of children who have hemiplegia, hemiparesis, or hemiplegic cerebral palsy. Meet thousands of families who understand the joys and challenges of raising a child with hemiplegia. We talk about many issues - why our child has hemiplegia (many of us still don't know), how to find the best therapies, ways to help our children learn to dress independently, ideas for working with teachers and school systems, and more. Most of all, you'll find parents who understand what you're going through. You do not have to be alone.

CHASA provides an opportunity for families throughout the world to network and support each other through local meetings and online neighborhood groups, national retreat, college, vocational school, and athletic scholarships, and educational websites.
