Porter-Starke Services, Inc. is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life within our communities.
Program Description
Porter-Starke Services is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) headquartered in Valparaiso, with additional offices in Portage, Knox and in the Aberdeen complex south of Valparaiso. As a licensed CMHC through the Indiana Division of Mental Health & Addictions and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, Porter-Starke Services offers a continuum of care for adults, families, adolescents, and children with mental health or substance abuse issues.

Financial
We accept most major insurance plans including Anthem, Aetna, Cigna and many others. Porter-Starke Services also accepts Medicare and is an authorized Medicaid provider. If you do not have insurance, we offer discounts on services based on family income and size. Our Financial Counselors will send you notification of your awarded sliding-scale discount and reduced payment, which will be applied at time of service.
