The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's (SAMHSA's) mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities. To realize this vision, the Agency has sharply focused its mission on building resilience and facilitating recovery for people with or at risk for mental or substance use disorders. SAMHSA is gearing all of its resources -- programs, policies and grants -- toward that outcome.

Mental Health Services Locator This Locator provides you with comprehensive information about mental health services and resources and is useful for professionals, consumers and their families, and the public.  Link:  http://store.samhsa.gov/mhlocator  

Treatment Referral line 1-800-662-4357 (HELP). This toll-free service (in English and Spanish) provides round-the-clock information confidentially on where to go for help on prevention, treatment, and recovery issues related to mental illness or substance use disorders.
