Service Animals and Postsecondary Institutions
When a college student has a service animal, what are their rights in student housing, classrooms, and other school spaces? What responsibilities does the college have?
On Tuesday, March 20, ADA-Indiana will present an audio conference dealing with recent revisions to Americans with Disabilities Act regulations and how they might impact colleges and college students with service animals. The conference will feature representatives from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and postsecondary institutions.
