Rally for Independence

On Tuesday, March 26, advocates from across Indiana will rally at the Indiana Statehouse to demonstrate strong statewide support for home and community-based services, which allow seniors and people with disabilities of any age the option of remaining independent in their homes and communities. The Rally for Independence is an opportunity to learn about pertinent legislation before the Indiana General Assembly, to show our legislators statewide support for home and community-based services and to meet other advocates from across the state.

WHEN:  March 26, 2013
             Lunch - 11:15 a.m.
             Rally - 12:00 p.m.

WHERE:   Indiana Statehouse
                North Atrium
                200 W Washington Street, Indianapolis

REGISTRATION:
Registration is required. To register for the event, please call (800) 986-3505 to be connected with your local Area Agency on Aging (AAA). These organizations are managing registration for all rally participants.  Registration reserves your seat at the rally and a complimentary boxed lunch.

TRANSPORTATION:
Check with your local AAA to confirm transportation will be provided to and from the rally. Your local AAA will be able to provide the transportation details for your area.

In the event your local AAA is not coordinating transportation, please continue to register for the event with your AAA. An event organizer will be in contact with you to make every attempt to get you to and from the event.

Travelling on your own? Parking is available in numerous pay garages and metered street parking within walking distance of the statehouse. Registration through the local AAA is still required.
