An Overview of Biomedical Treatments
This session will give a general overview of how the biomedical treatment of autism works and how Defeat Autism Now physicians and families are working together to heal children’s bodies and minds who are affected by autism. We will look at how the immune system, gastrointestinal system, and nervous system are intertwined and how one can severely affect another.
The program includes nutritional therapy, supplementation therapy, detoxification, and medication (antifungals, antibiotics, antivirals, and anti-inflammatories). A case study of the speaker’s child will also be given to show how parts of the biomedical program are implemented.
