Kristi Skinner

Kristi and her husband have one son. Kristi has a degree from Purdue University and left her corporate career to be a stay at home mom when their son was given a primary diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy at about 15 months of age. The past several years have been filled with countless hours attending occupational, physical, speech, developmental and behavioral therapies in various mediums such as hippo therapy, water therapy and robotic therapy therapies. There have also been countless specialist appointments, six surgeries for her son (three of which were orthopedic in nature), and various types of insurance transitions over the years.  She is familiar with overcoming insurance denials, along with ways to obtain medical equipment not covered by insurance. Through all the experiences in handling her son’s health issues, Kristi really enjoys sharing the knowledge she has acquired along the way and has a great desire to assist other families of children with special needs in finding ways to obtain services, training and support.
