Parent Liaison

Lisa Kutschera

Lisa joined ASK in February 2007 as a Parent Liaison for the Managed Care Organization Project. Lisa brought with her vast number of years of experience in working with individuals with disabilities.  Those experiences range from Direct Care to Case Management.  With that knowledge, Lisa is able to assist families and professionals in navigating multiple programs and services to improve the lives of children.  Lisa’s passion for those with disabilities is evident in the volunteer positions she maintains.  She serves not only those with ASK but also those within her community.

Lisa is the mother of two teenage boys.  The oldest has recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.  Her previous employment prepared her for the role of parent liaison.  However, her youngest child helped develop the understanding of raising a child with special needs; receiving therapies through the First Steps program and later diagnosed with Autism.  He is involved in Special Olympics, receives services through the Medicaid Waiver program and receives supports through an IEP in the school system.
