To prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
Program Description

We provide programs of public awareness, adult support groups, camp for children, family support, fund research, endocrine disorders/diabetes, safe at school program for children with diabetes, and more.

Camp John Warvel is a week-long summer resident camp for children with diabetes, ages 7 through 15. Held in northern Indiana, Camp Warvel provides a safe, educational, and fun camping experience, while at the same time, teaches diabetes management skills. There is also a Senior Camper/Counselor-In-Training program for young persons ages 16 through 18. Financial assistance is available when needed.

Financial
Membership in American Diabetes Association is $28 per year, though often there are periods when the fee is reduced. As a member you will receive the Diabetes Forecast Magazine monthly and other publications. Membership is NOT REQUIRED to receive services.
