2-1-1 United Way of Howard County operates 24 hours a day to link those in need with a statewide database of over 10,000 programs -- helping to find solutions to the most challenging of our community's problems.

We provide community resource navigation services, connecting people with a wide range of issues from utility and rental assistance to child care, support groups, prescription and transportation to the resources that can provide assistance.

Our database includes services statewide that are available to those in our coverage area. We accept calls from any county in the State of Indiana and can help via our statewide searchable database.
Program Description
2-1-1 United Way of Howard County provides support to non-profits, churches, clubs and partners with local businesses, churches, students and professionals to increase the capacity of people to care for one another here in Howard County. Some of our partnerships include:
  • Ministerial Utility and Fuel Fund;
  • Letter Carrier Food Drive;
  • Shiloh Pharmacy Fund;
  • Gap Tracking,
  • Food Pantry Network;
  • Free Tax Preparation Service- in person or online;
  • Translation services are available via three way calling
