To improve the lives of persons affected by syringomyelia, Chiari Malformations and related disorders while we find the cure.

Program Description

Syringomelia is a slowly progressive neurological disorder in which cavitation occurs in the spinal cord. The cavity (syrinx) is usually paramedian and may extend up into the medulla oblongata or down as far as the lumbar region. Syringomelia is often associated with craniovertebral anomalies, including Arnold-Chiari syndrome.
