Mission

Blind and Visually Impaired Services (BVIS) provides state-wide assistance and services to enable the achievement of vocational and personal independence to the citizens of Indiana with blindness and visual impairment.

Program Description

Individuals may be referred by Vocational Rehabilitation or can be self referred to the programs.

The Randolph-Sheppard Business Enterprise Program provides entrepreneurial opportunities for legally blind clients of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS).

The Older Blind/Visually Impaired Program expands independent living services for people who are age 55 and older, and have a severe visual impairment.
