The Able Kids Foundation offers in-depth testing of the central auditory nervous system by audiologists and provides solutions for individuals with central auditory processing disorder (CAPD). This international Foundation’s goal is to provide comprehensive central auditory processing assessment, detailed reports, insightful information, and individualized state-of-the-art management. The testing and management program offered at the Able Kids Foundation is only available in Fort Collins, Colorado and attracts individuals from across the country and around the world.

Our Mission: To eliminate barriers and expand opportunities for individuals with auditory challenges.

To date, our primary focus is on children and adults with central auditory processing difficulties.
Program Description
Children and adults seen at the Foundation typically have excellent hearing but have difficulty understanding auditory information when in a less than quiet listening environment. Our one-of-a-kind testing and management program has attracted individuals from over 20 countries and 40 states since the Foundation’s inception in 2006.

Clients of all ages are referred to Able Kids Foundation by parents and educators, as well as physicians, audiologists, psychologists, occupational therapists, optometrists, speech and language pathologists, and other professionals. We are grateful for the support of local, national, and international organizations who further our mission of improving lives and expanding opportunities for individuals with auditory challenges. Their generosity anchors the Sponsorship Assistance Program which helps offset financial barriers to children and adults in need of central auditory processing evaluation and management solutions.
