Mission
The intervention, the ENCOMPASS program, is an evidence-based treatment which integrates individual cognitive behavior therapy, family therapy, medication treatment, and a contingency management program to reduce drug use and improve overall functioning.
Program Description
The clinic provides the following:

DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATION to determine the extent of the substance use disorder and whether another psychiatric illness co-exists

INDIVIDUAL COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY for adolescent substance use and cooccurring psychiatric disorders

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT by psychiatrists with experience in treating adolescents with substance use disorders and other psychiatric illnesses

FAMILY THERAPY AND GROUPS to help families learn skills to support their adolescent’s progress

MOTIVATIONAL ENHANCEMENT prize program to encourage participation, sobriety, and reintegration into a drug and alcohol free life

INFORMATIONAL MATERIALS provided about substance use disorders, other psychiatric illnesses, and available treatments and therapies
