The mission of Camp Riley is to provide a traditional camping experience to individuals of any ability from any background.
Program Description
Camp Riley empowers children with physical disabilities by providing enriching, life-changing experiences in a traditional camping environment tailored to their individual needs.

Since 1955, campers have shattered perceived limitations, met new friends and reached higher achievements, allowing them to return home with an increased sense of independence and confidence.

Camp Riley takes place at Bradford Woods, Indiana University’s Outdoor Center located 20 miles southwest of Indianapolis, in Martinsville, Ind. The facility is universally accessible, the staff-to-camper ratio never exceeds 1-to-3 and the Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health staff provide 24 hour onsite healthcare services.

Eligible children ages 8 to 18 can attend one of eight Camp Riley summer sessions. Each camp session is designed to best fit the individual camper's needs.
Camp Riley is made possible through the financial support of Riley Children's Foundation. Thanks to donors, the cost to attend Camp Riley is $400 for a one-week session and $800 for a two-week session. Beyond that, a sliding scale is available depending on household income with further financial assistance available. Every child can attend Camp Riley regardless of their ability to pay. No child will be turned away.
