Program Description
Adaptive/Inclusion Programs Adaptive Programs are designed for individuals with disabilities. We also make all other programs inclusive. If you need modifications for a program, please contact the Inclusion Supervisor who will implement an assessment and figure out what modifications you need for success!

We encourage participation by individuals of all ages and abilities within our community. We believe that everyone should participate in leisure opportunities that allow for performance at their highest level.

Did you know ALL of our programs are inclusive?! If you or your family member would like to participate in any program or use our facility, we can make modifications to meet your needs. Request for modifications must be made at least one month before participation. A Request for Modification form may be picked up at the Monon Community Center front desk or found at our website at

You do not have to live in Carmel or Hamilton County, no membership required to participate in programs.

Adaptive Private Swim Lessons:  The Adaptive Private Swim Lesson Program targets all ages and is designed to meet the needs of individuals with a disability.  The individual will receive 1:1 attention from a certified instructor who has experience teaching adaptive swim lessons and working with individuals with a disability.  Fee is for ten 30-minute lessons.  Please call for more information.
