Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope

On Thursday, April 9th, Franciscan Health is hosting a special 24-hour Virtual Screening of the award-winning film RESILIENCE. The documentary chronicles a new movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators and communities, who are using cutting-edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction and disease. Additionally, the night of the showing, Franciscan Health is offering a live Twitter Townhall® with a professional from Franciscan Health, Beacon Health System, the Indiana Department of Education, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, Bauer Family Resources, and Montgomery County Youth Service Bureau. The Twitter Townhall® hopes to raise greater awareness around ACEs and build trauma-informed communities across diverse professional sectors.
